Timari Schweizer, D.M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Timari Schweizer, warmly referred to as “Dr. Tim,” grew up in rural southern Oregon. She received her bachelor’s degree in public health studies from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her formal education from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, where she received both a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) as well as a Masters of Public Health (M.P.H.). Dr. Schweizer is a recipient of the Delta Dental Community Outreach scholarship and is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society, graduating with honors in community oral health. After finishing dental school, she completed a two-year residency program specializing in pediatric dentistry at Children's Hospital of Colorado in Denver. She is a licensed provider in the state of Alabama, certified to administer conscious sedation as well as being Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified. Dr. Timari Schweizer is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) as well as the American Dental Association (ADA).
Dr. Tim is a strong advocate for increased access and preventative pediatric dental services for children. She is a passionate researcher of preventative oral health measures for primary and infant age groups and has developed dental literature on three continents. She and her husband, Andy, are excited to share the expansion of their family with their first child, baby Lily born June 2021. Outside of the office, Dr. Tim enjoys exploring the great outdoors, skiing, hiking, and SCUBA diving.
